Dööners

Dööners is a new European lunch spot in downtown Saint Petersburg. They offer a unique style of sandwich and salad I’ve never seen before. The service is still evolving and it can be a little slow and disorganized, but the food is definitely tasty and an interesting experience.

The standard sandwich offers an option of turkey, chicken, or beef/lamb on bread. The sandwich comes standard with a white sauce and ingredients you’d expect in a Greek salad. You can optionally get feta cheese or hot sauce for an extra charge. So far, the turkey and chicken options have tasted good, but the chicken without feta cheese has been the best yet. The beef/lamb variant and the hot sauce add-on sound like good options as well. Dööners also serve some other quick European dishes.
